It'll feel a little underpowered in the mid 50s but at 60 with the good BL haste, slow and crack you'll be a powerhouse. TOV mobs like in the Orctooth quest get really high slow mitigation. Myself and one of my friends have a pretty long history with EQ, and I play from time to time on P99. Pally 3rd, Warriors are terrible until they have good weapons. There are many things that can be substituted for instance there is a Bard song that lets you haste attacks instead of using an Enchanter spells. And as a little secret - a beastlord has an immortality mode, when for 60 seconds it mitigates 90+% of the incoming damage, which you can use to burn-tank some nameds. Since mages get kind of mediocre in Kunark, I'd pick a necromancer for the other pet class. If you're on a TLP server, refer to Apudark's guide. Lots of multiboxers spend a lot of time trying to do a lot of research on what the best combos are. I really enjoyed this combo when I did it on a TLP from 60-85. People just choose to flip TLPs endlessly, limiting themselves to the objectively worse eras in the game for a class design perspective. Cleric - better heals, better AC/HP buffs, rez if things go to poop. I just started back into the game after a frickin 16 year hiatus lol. I've seen many people do Enc/Mage/Cleric or Enc/Mage/Druid, but thats not a combo that works well long term. Also not sure I understand how bards are a waste in a 3-box? a 3-box is a full group, and Bard DPS is ridiculous right now.
